Rain arrives for Manila concert


MANILA, Philippines – South Korean pop singer Jung Ji-Hoon, or more popularly known as Rain, arrived in Manila past 4 p.m. on Friday for his concert.

Rain did not grant any media interviews nor spend time with his fans who waited for him at the airport.

His concert, entitled “Intensity,” will be held on September 11 at the open grounds of SM Mall of Asia.

He will be joined by the K-Pop group U-Kiss who have performed in the country twice already. Filipino romantic balladeer Christian Bautista is also scheduled to perform in the concert.

Carlo Orosa, Baustista’s manager, said the concert is special for Rain since this will be his last before he enters Korean Military Service as it compulsory for male Korean citizens.

Prices of the concert tickets are P500, P1,500, P3,000 and P4,500.
